Our Team

I’m a financial services professional with a strong focus on paraplanning and a genuine commitment to doing things properly. I have always been drawn to the detail‑focused side of the industry, particularly where clarity and structure support high‑quality financial advice.

Over more than 12 years in financial services, including 8 years in dedicated paraplanning roles, I have developed a well‑rounded understanding of how advice firms operate. My experience across different roles means I do not just focus on the technical work. I understand the wider processes, pressures and expectations that sit behind it.

Alongside hands‑on paraplanning, I have also managed a team of 14 paraplanners while continuing to produce research and suitability reports myself. This combination of leadership and technical involvement has shaped a practical and structured approach, balancing consistency, efficiency and attention to detail while keeping sight of what advisers need to deliver for their clients.

In addition to my core paraplanning work, I gained valuable operational and project management experience while supporting a large‑scale suitability report template rework at a previous firm. Working closely with senior management, I contributed to reviewing and improving processes to create greater consistency and efficiency across the business. A key part of this was ensuring that improvements were practical and sustainable, while achieving the right balance between operational efficiency and a manageable workload for the team.

I also bring a different perspective to problem solving, which allows me to approach processes and challenges in a considered and structured way. Being neurodivergent has shaped how I work, often leading me to identify improvements, alternative approaches and practical solutions that may not have been immediately obvious. This complements my structured approach, supporting both consistency and ongoing refinement where it is needed.

I take a straightforward, organised approach to my work and genuinely enjoy supporting advisers behind the scenes in a way that brings consistency and reliability to their output. There is real satisfaction in contributing to well‑structured, compliant advice and in helping create a process that runs smoothly and reliably.

I am naturally quite a passionate person, which carries through into my interests outside of work. I enjoy reading, particularly Greek mythology and historical fantasy, as well as unwinding with a good video game. I also value time spent outdoors, whether that is walking the dog or spending time with family, and I occasionally pick up a camera for amateur photography.

I like to keep things a little different too. The samurai photo you will see was taken during a visit to the Samurai Museum in Tokyo. It is a memorable moment from a recent trip and a small reflection of my interest in history and culture.
